A Personal Note from Dr. Sison - Introducing Dr. Jordan Jin
Announcement: Dr. Sison Welcomes Dr. Jin to Vision Care Center
Dear Patient and your family members,
It is my pleasure to introduce Dr. Jordan Jin to Vision Care Center as the new owner of the business. After 39 years of practicing Optometry I’ve decided that it is time to let the next generation capture and expand the services provided here at the office. Dr. Jin comes from a varied culmination of experiences and has worked with both young and old, as well as those utilizing the CRT or ortho-keratology lenses or the MiSight myopia management soft lenses as many of you or your children are continuing to wear these devices. This is a huge relief for me, as this specialty is just now expanding and I was worried I wouldn’t find a replacement doctor who can manage these cases. He brings high energy to the office and I feel that he will be able to not only manage my current patients, but grow the practice with the added skills these younger doctors have been taught that were not in my curriculum 39 years ago.
This will be a bittersweet period of transition, having seen some of you go from college, get married, have babies and then see these babies go off to college, there are several lives I’ve had the pleasure to see for the majority of my lifetime. I know that many of you have voiced that you didn’t realize that I’m old enough to have grand babies, it is now time for me to have the means to be able to appreciate their fast growth. Yes, I am indeed AARP eligible and almost Medicare eligible.
As was the case when I first purchased this practice from Dr. Eugene Hettich, I felt that it was destiny that I was placed in this position. The same is true in finding Dr. Jin. He found me under a serendipitous situation and it was again destiny that the match was made in heaven. I truly hope that you and your families will continue your care here at Vision Care Center. Continuity is always beneficial in managing healthcare. As he meets you and your family members, I’m sure you will quickly get comfortable with his care and compassion.
I bid farewell and a big virtual hug to many of you who I will miss immensely and who I was not able to say goodbye to in person.
Sincerely,
Nery Sison, O.D.
